A vet or veterinary nurse will explain the need for an operation and discuss the procedure and after-care with you. You will be advised on how best you can help to prepare your pet beforehand.

In order to monitor your pet's condition, a blood sample may be needed. After surgery, your pet returns to our comfortable in-patient facilities, to recover. They are monitored throughout their stay and you are welcome to phone for news of their progress. Most patients are able to go home on the same day Post-operative information leaflets are provided to help you continue to care for your animal at home.
